The wet mixing granulator is one of the commonly used process equipment in the production of solid dosage forms in the pharmaceutical industry. It is widely applied in the mixing of powders and powders, as well as the granulation of powders with binders, in various industries such as medicine, chemical, and food. Working principle:
The granulation process of this machine is completed in the same container through two steps: mixing and granulation. The powdered material is placed in a fixed conical container, where it is agitated by the mixing paddle, causing the material to collide and disperse into a semi-fluid tumbling state, achieving thorough mixing. With the injection of binder, the powder gradually becomes moist, and the shape of the material changes, enhancing the squeezing, rubbing, and kneading effects of the mixing paddle and the cylinder wall on the material, thus forming a moist and uniform soft material. These soft materials are gradually formed into small and uniform wet granules under the high-speed cutting and granulation of the granulation paddle, and finally discharged through the discharge port. The granule size is constrained by factors such as the characteristics of the material, the rotational speed of the granulation knife, and the granulation time.
